Section Groups
In Shopify, section groups are a way to organize sections within a theme. Section groups allow you to group related sections together and control their layout and design.
For example, you might have a section group for the homepage, another for the product pages, and another for the blog pages. This allows you to easily control the layout and design of all sections within a group, rather than having to make changes to each section individually.
Examples of how section groups might be used on a Shopify store:
Homepage Section Group: This group might include sections for the hero image, featured products, and blog posts. By grouping these sections together, the store owner can control the overall layout and design of the homepage as a whole.
Product Page Section Group: This group might include sections for the product images, product descriptions, and related products. By grouping these sections together, the store owner can control the layout and design of all product pages at once.
Blog Page Section Group: This group might include sections for the blog post title, featured image, and post content. By grouping these sections together, the store owner can control the layout and design of all blog pages at once
