How to configure color swatches

DAWN Theme Color Swatches are the perfect way for potential buyers to get a feel for the colors of your products. With just a few clicks, they can see how the colors will look in different lighting and situations. This makes it easier for them to choose the best color goods for their needs.

With the DAWN Theme Color swatches, you can rest assured that you're getting exactly the hue you want. These swatches are designed to give you a true sense of the colors available, so you can make the best choice for your product.

Start by adding the files listed in the installation zip that was provided when you made the purchase.

After adding the files, please create the custom color swatches!

You can use free online tools or photoshop to create these colors.

The images should be 50 by 50 pixels in size, and when saving, save as PNG format.

As you upload the color swatches in the files section of your shopify, please make sure the name is exactly as it is spelled for the variant and with .png at the end.

You do not need to save the file as " swatch-black-yellow.png". but "swatch-black-yellow" AS A PNG FILE

Always save your swatches with the title "swatch" before any of the option names

when there is a space, always use hyphens between "-"

Next in the theme editor, go to the section at the very bottom under the footer where you will see eg color swatches.

The option name here means that the color swatches will display when the option names are listed here. Please always seperate with commas.

At the bottom of every section we create, you are provided padding top and bottom, margin top and bottom. padding is the space within the element.

margin is the space outside of the element.
