How to configure stories
It can be a challenge to keep your Shopify store fresh and up-to-date, but with the help of our new video tutorial, you can add Stories to your theme in just a few clicks! Stories are a great way to highlight new products, showcase customer testimonials, or give your customers a behind-the-scenes look at your business.
With Shopify animated stories, you can engage your customers like never before. These rich, media-rich stories are interactive and engaging, and they're sure to make a lasting impression. Plus, adding Stories to your Shopify store is quick and easy - just copy and paste the code into your theme, and you're good to go!
Start by adding the files listed in the installation zip that was provided when you made the purchase.
Once you have added the files, click on the customize button to enter the theme editor
Within the section, you are allowed 50 blocks. The section itself will automatically scroll on mobile if there are more than 5 displayed.
In the section settings, you have the options to:
set background color
set text color
wrap in a container- full width or in a container
image width and height options
animated circle effects, stroke color and stroke end color
show on mobile show on desktop
In each block, you have the option to pull an image, link the image, show circle effect, and choose a title text
At the bottom of every section we create, you are provided padding top and bottom, margin top and bottom. padding is the space within the element.
margin is the space outside of the element.
